As of June 5, 2026, this credential evolved into the CSPP™. Current GPM-b™ holders keep their certification and can upgrade to the CSPP™ at no cost. The information below is retained for reference.

The GPM-b™certification is valid for 5 years and does not require ongoing maintenance or renewal. After five years, you’ll have the opportunity to refresh your knowledge and renew your credential through recertification. If your certification is close to expiration, you must take the RPL (short form) exam through the Project Management Institute to renew, as we are no longer accepting case studies. After you have renewed, it will remain active for five years, and going forward, you will use PDUs to remain active
